The OPTIBATCH 4021 is a Coriolis mass flowmeter for process batching of linear and rotating filling machines. The specialised meter is particularly designed for high accuracy and long term stable flow measurement of conductive and non-conductive liquids in filling machines used in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries. The Coriolis batch meter also comes with hazardous area approvals, which makes it an ideal choice for batching applications with alcohols or alcoholic liquids and beverages. The sophisticated electronics of the OPTIBATCH 4021 enables outstanding response and measurement times, which are market-leading at extremely low filling times of <1 second.
The OPTIBATCH 4021 features integrated converter capabilities and does therefore not require a separate signal converter. In addition to the pulse or frequency output, the Coriolis meter has an additional status output for device or application diagnostics during meter operation. This can be used to indicate out-of-spec conditions related to device health or unfavourable process events such as gas entrainment during batching. In addition, a Modbus service interface is available for easy device programming, configuration and enhanced status diagnostics.
